Pastor Marilyn Jestus and her husband, Reverend Tom Jestus, have pastored the Miracle Centre and now Church Wherever for over 40 years. They have been involved in ministry for almost 50 years. She has ministered in England, Africa, India, Italy, Mexico, and the Philippines.
Marilyn has a warmth and genuineness that opens hearts and spirits to a deeper understanding of God‘s Word. The desire of her heart is that “we all can confidently and joyfully look forward to actually becoming all that God has had in mind for us to be.” Romans 5:2 TLB
She and her husband of 54 years have three children and thirteen grandchildren – their pride and joy!
The 2024 Women United-Together in Christ Weekender at Koronis Ministries Retreat Center on the shores of beautiful Lake Koronis in Paynesville, MN, just 90 minutes from the Twin Cities. The theme of this year’s retreat, “Rest”. With the Key Scripture from Matthew 11:28-30: Come to me all you who labor and are heavy laden and overburdened, and I will cause you to rest [I will ease, relieve and refresh your souls]. We will come together to worship. learn, pray, play, rest and make new relationships.
We welcome back guest speaker Pastor Deena Smeltzer, co-pastor of Thriving Life Church in Vista, California. Pastor Deena has spoken at many Women United events. We love her and so will you!
We will be staying at The Sunrise Inn, Koronis’s newest, hotel style lodge. Each room is air conditioned, has 2 full beds, and private bath, two ladies per room. You can request your roommate. We ask that this be a mutual request. Our meetings will take place in the newly built Tabernacle, overlooking the lake. Our meals will be prepared by their award winning staff and be served in the Dining Hall. There will be plenty of free time to enjoy the amenities of the retreat center. please visit www.koronisministries.org to learn more about what they have to offer. The swimming beach is lovely.
The cost of the retreat is $255. This includes 2 nights lodging, all meals (from Friday Supper through Sunday lunch), and materials you need for the meetings. A free will offering will be taken for our speaker. Registration is limited to 50 women so we suggest you register early. Those under 18 must be accompanied by a responsible adult. Once you have registered, we will keep you updated with things you need to know. Tickets are non-refundable after June 18th, 2024.

What Is Women United?
Women United, Together in Christ was formed in 2002 in the small town of Arlington, MN. A group of believers from different churches wanted to create an organization that would bring Christian women from all backgrounds together to learn, to pray, to worship, to network, and build new relationships…celebrating our common love for the Lord Jesus Christ. We started having events, each time inviting a guest speaker to teach, and inviting ladies from miles around to attend. The response was tremendous.
